Submit your details through our Become a Contributor form at the bottom of this page. We review every application to ensure The Black Room remains a curated, high-quality catalogue for the film, television, and commercial production industry.
Once accepted, we'll guide you through the process.
Review & Onboarding
You'll receive a welcome email with a link to our Artist Terms & Conditions. Once accepted, you'll complete your artist profile — giving us everything we need to represent your work professionally.
Quality is everything. We'll show you exactly what we need.
Prepare & Submit Your Work
Artwork must be submitted as a high-resolution JPEG (300 DPI minimum), either professionally scanned or photographed. Files are sent via WeTransfer alongside a completed Artwork Submission Form. Full guidelines are provided in your Artist Portal.
We handle the licensing. You focus on creating.
Your Work Goes Live
Once approved, your artwork is added to The Black Room catalogue and made available for licensing to productions across film, television, streaming, and commercial media. You retain ownership — we handle everything else.
Every licence generates income for you.
Earn Royalties
Each time your artwork is licensed, you earn a royalty. Payments are processed securely and transparently. Exclusive works may attract premium licensing opportunities and commission requests.
